Biography
Suzanne teaches a variety of writing courses in the Writing, Speaking, and Argument Program, many of them focused on writing in the sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development in Educational Contexts, and in addition to teaching, she researches how people learn and how they apply what they’ve learned to new contexts. In the classroom, Suzanne encourages her students to explore different and appropriate ways to meet the communicative needs of their audience(s), since this is a valuable skill for all communicators in contexts even beyond higher education.
