Biography
Karl Mohn is an assistant professor who specializes in multimodal composition, digital humanities, and comics studies. Karl earned his BA at University of Georgia and his MA at San Francisco State University before returning to UGA for his PhD. Karl’s other interests include locative media and video games. His new course, “Writing Across Technologies” explores the connection between the tools and technologies we use to write and their effect on how we think and what we think we can communicate, from clay tablets to word processing.
