Biography
Denise Malloy is an assistant professor in the Writing, Speaking, and Argument Program. In addition to teaching writing, she has been a professional writer, editor, and columnist for over twenty years. Prior to earning her doctorate, Denise practiced law and represented physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice claims. She also served as a prosecutor and a judicial law clerk for the court of appeals. Her research interests include student attitudes about writing, the writing process, and creativity across the disciplines.
