Biography

After studying English at Skidmore College, I pursued a PH.D in English from the University of Rochester, where I focused on cosmopolitan thought in experimental African American fiction. In the WSAP, I teach first year composition and professional communication courses. My current composition course is an experience-based writing class focused on outdoor adventure. When I’m not in the classroom, I can be found chasing my three children around the lakes, creeks, hills, and gullies of the Finger Lakes region.
