Biography

Paige Sloan joined the Writing, Speaking, and Argument Program in 2010 and serves as the Director of the English for Academic Purposes Program (EAPP) and as an instructor for EAPP and WSAP courses. Prior to coming to Rochester, Paige taught English overseas in China at Guizhou University and in Japan at Kanazawa Institute of Technology. Paige attended The University of Alabama and received a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and American Studies, followed by a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA-TESOL) and a master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS). Her interests are in Asian film, New York City history and culture, and in local Rochester history.
