EAPP Tutor

The Writing and Speaking Center is looking to hire a tutor for English for Academic Purposes Program (EAPP) students. The EAPP tutor will work four to six hours per week and conduct 50-minute tutoring sessions with students working on argument-based academic writing. We are looking for someone with a background in EAPP and experience working with college-level writers.

Please note: The EAPP tutor must participate in a series of four tutor training sessions early in the fall semester. They will be paid the tutoring rate for all training meetings.

  • Personal information: including your student ID number, graduate department or program, and your local address and phone number
  • CV
  • Cover letter: please explain why you would like to become an EAPP tutor and what relevant skills and experience you would bring to the position
  • A sample of your academic writing (approximately 10-15 pages)
