Upper Level Writing Courses—ChE246 Spring 2009
Schedule:
February 24th: Writing workshop and peer feedback session
Time: 2:00 – 4:00pm
Location: Gavett 119
A writing consultant who will present a power point presentation on scientific and technical writing will lead this session.
During the workshop, the writing fellows will work with groups of students to help them apply knowledge from the workshop to their own papers through peer feedback.
Note:Please bring first drafts of your report # 1 to this workshop. See guidelines on how to write lab reports for this class
At the end of the peer-review session and before submitting your work to the professor, please write a short self-assessment to explain how you would change your paper based on your peer feedback.
March 17th: Final drafts of report # 1 are due.
March 5 - March 20: Individual meetings with writing fellows

The College Writing Program is now offering writing tutoring via AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Send an instant message to screen name “URtutoring” and you can consult online with a UR tutor about select portions of your writing projects. From thesis statements to citation formats, we're here for you at all stages of the writing process. This service is available Sunday - Wednesday 10pm - 12am and extended hours on Thursday until 1:00am.
